Despite all of the hype and my own excitement, I was greatly disappointed. Ladies, this is a warning...don't run out and buy it.
My biggest issue with this game is the lack of knowledge and demonstration on proper alignment during the yoga portion. For instance, in the chaturanga dandasana, participants are not instructed to hug their elbows into their body. Instead, the screen shows a video person with their elbows out...reminds me of a push-up and not yoga. Even the Wii promotional materials shows incorrect alignment. Ooops! Did they consult with a yogi before they created the game?
I give them credit for being ahead of their time with the advancement of technology and their emphasis on movement but the yoga 'game' falls way short of my expectations.

Thanks for the information! I seriously thought about purchasing this system because of the balance board and the yoga software - I certainly will research it now.
Interesting - I just had a private session with a yoga teacher who seriously corrected my plank position - what a difference it makes for the good!
thank you!
:)
If you can't get to a class, then I highly recommend visiting this web site http://www.yogatoday.com/get-started/. They emphasize proper alignment and breathing...just like a real yoga class! : )
I was so disappointed... I thought it would be a routine... not just poses... back to my dvds!
I know...since when is yoga just a bunch of poses? Ugh...it is another example of greediness to capitalize on yoga's popularity.
