You Rub Me The Wrong Way!
Today's random selection for the "Wreck this Journal" online bookclub was anti-climatic. I rubbed away on the side of a box that I bought while in China but, unfortunately, the outcome was less than superb. If I didn't have a house full of guests for the 4th of July, I would prefer to complete this task at the local cemetary...rubbing on gravestones! I bet that I could find some cool things tucked away.

I remember doing rubbings at a cemetary when I was on the hunt for family ancestors.
We did this in Scotland many years ago - still remeber the experience.
have a great holiday weekend!
Yes I was thinking of a graveyard too... The fear is being arrested as a crazy woman wandering the cemetery with this totally bizarre, waterlogged book with food and other things plastered all over it!
while the pencil rubbing didn't turn out too good, that box is gorgeous. i love little boxes like that.
i've been trying to think of something to do on that page and haven't come up w/ anything good yet.
It still kind of looks neat! Happy 4th to you! :)
I've stumbled upon a flickr account dedicated solely to that project before (: The journal sounds awesome!
bisous,
La C.
Watch out! Crazy woman on the loose in the cemetary!!! Warning: She has a weapon (wet journal)!
Thank you for leaving a lovely comment, darling!

Absolutely love the idea of graveyard rubbing jouranl wrecking ... genius!!! :)
I did a bunch of little things for my rubbings page - but going to a cemetery would be fabulous! I'd bring along lots of extra pieces of paper, that's for sure.
